1 dead in Phoenix hit-and-run crash

One person is dead following a hit-and-run crash on Jan. 21 near 48th Street and Broadway Road. FOX 10’s Irene Snyder reports.

PHOENIX – One person is dead following a hit-and-run crash early Tuesday morning near a Phoenix intersection. 

The crash happened at around 2:45 a.m. on Jan. 21 near 48th Street and Broadway Road.

What we know:

Phoenix Police say a pickup truck hit a pedestrian before fleeing the scene.

The victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries where he later died.

Broadway Road has reopened in both directions between 44th and 48th Streets.

What we don’t know:

The victim has not been identified and there is no description of the suspect’s vehicle.
