Serious crash shuts down portion of Loop 202 Red Mountain near Dobson Road

MESA, AZ — A serious crash shut down a portion of the eastbound lanes of Loop 202 Red Mountain early Friday morning.

According to Arizona Department of Public Safety officials, the crash involved two vehicles in the eastbound lanes near Dobson Road.

Officials would not confirm injuries or possible fatalities in the crash.

The Arizona Department of Transportation said lanes were reopened to traffic around 5:45 a.m.
