SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Officials confirm at least one person has died after an aircraft crash on the runway Monday at the Scottsdale Airport.
At around 2:30 p.m., Officials say a jet veered off the runway and crashed into another jet.
As of 4:30 p.m., Scottsdale Fire Captain Dave Folio says one person remains trapped inside the plane while emergency crews are working to rescue them.

Three other people onboard the plane have been taken to hospitals for treatment of their injuries. The extent of those injuries is unknown.
The runway is closed as authorities investigate what happened.
The Federal Aviation Association shared the following statement:
“A Learjet 35A veered off the runway after landing and crashed into a Gulfstream 200 business jet on the ramp at Scottsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona around 2:45 p.m. local time Monday, Feb. 10. We do not know how many people were on board. The FAA istemporarily pausing flights into the airport.”
Officials say the FAA will investigate what led to the crash.
