Lane restrictions in place after crash at westside intersection | Local News

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – Drivers should expect delays near a busy westside intersection following a crash that caused damage to traffic light pole.

According to the Tucson Police Department, lane restrictions and closures are in place at Saint Marys Road and Silverbell Road after a vehicle crash involving minor injuries. Authorities say the collision damaged a traffic light pole at the intersection.

A maintenance crew has been dispatched and is working to repair the damaged pole. Officials warn that the restrictions are expected to remain in effect for an extended period while repairs are completed.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
