Pickup driver killed in Tucson crash

A 62-year-old man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a crash involving two pickup trucks on Tucson’s west side, police say.

About 3 p.m., John Forrest May was driving east on West Grant Road at North 15th Avenue, just west of North Oracle Road, when he was struck by an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck making a left turn, Tucson police said in a news release.

The unidentified driver of the Chevrolet was not injured. The driver was determined not to be impaired, and was arrested on suspicion of causing a death by a moving violation, police said in the release.
