1 person seriously injured in north Phoenix shooting; suspect on the run



The shooting occurred near 32nd Street and Greenway Road around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday.

PHOENIX — Police are looking for a suspect who shot a man and seriously injured him in north Phoenix on Saturday morning.

Around 5:30 a.m., police were called to a shooting near 32nd Street and Greenway Road.

Upon arrival, officers found a man with at least one gunshot wound.

The Phoenix Fire Department took the man to a nearby hospital with a life-threatening injury, police said.

The suspect, who police believe is a man, left the scene before police arrived.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call SILENT WITNESS at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO).

Calls to Silent Witness are answered 24/7 by a live person and submitted tips are accepted at all times. Submitted tips are then sent to the detective(s) in charge of the specific case. 

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
