The shooting occurred near Dignity Health Hospital in Glendale late Friday night.
GLENDALE, Ariz. — A drive-by shooting near Dignity Health Hospital in Glendale on Friday night left one person injured, according to the city’s police department.
Around 11:30 p.m., a person was reportedly shot by someone in a passing black SUV near 83rd Avenue and Camelback Road.
Approximately six to seven shots were heard, according to officials.
Police said the victim was already taken into the nearby emergency room before officers arrived on the scene.
The suspect in the shooting is on the run, police said.
No other victims are known at this time.
