Interstate 19 southbound is closed at kilometer post 63 (milepost 39) in Green Valley.
The closure is due to a crash, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Motorists should find an alternate route, ADOT said.
The northbound lanes are unaffected. There is no estimated time for the southbound lanes to reopen.
