PHOENIX, Ariz. (KVOA) – Police across Arizona are intensifying efforts to curb drunk driving as Saint Patrick’s Day festivities unfold.
The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety reports that more than 50 police agencies are mobilizing for the holiday.
They have deployed special patrols and drug recognition experts to identify drivers who may be under the influence. Their goal is to cut down on crashes and injuries.
Authorities are urging motorists to exercise extra caution on the roads.
