SOUTH TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – The South Tucson City Council addressed several issues during their meeting on Tuesday, focusing on Flock cameras and a proposed ICE detention facility.
Flock cameras and license plate reader contracts were a major topic at the meeting. These cameras previously sparked heated debate back in November of last year due to security concerns. Discussions about potentially canceling these contracts were postponed until this week. The majority of the council voted against proceeding with the contract.
