Senior Village at SaddleBrooke celebrated two milestones with an Open house on Friday, November 7, 2025—its tenth anniversary and the first anniversary in its office at 16460 N. Oracle Road. More than 100 hundred guests joined the celebration and were warmly greeted by the Senior Village Board of Directors and Staff.
A highlight of the event was the unveiling of a stunning quilt created by the SaddleBrooke Quilters Club. The quilt now hangs proudly in the Senior Village lobby. The quilters lovingly crafted the piece to commemorate their own 5th anniversary in SaddleBrooke and to honor the special partnership between the club and Senior Village in presenting quilts each year to SaddleBrooke veterans.
According to project co-leader Kris Prass, the Quilts of Valor program in SaddleBrooke has now recognized more than 80 resident veterans. Prass and co-leader Karen Pearce presented the quilt to Senior Village during the open house.
The quilt features a patriotic design evocative of the American flag, with a border of houses reminiscent of the Senior Village logo. “The design of the quilt perfectly captures our patriotic spirit,” said Senior Village Executive Director Linda Hampton. “The red stripes and blue field of stars symbolize our many volunteers—each one a star in their own right—and the row of houses represents the village we serve.”
The celebration reflected the strong community spirit and partnerships that have sustained Senior Village for the past decade—and continue to make SaddleBrooke a caring place to call home.
