TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – The man accused of hitting and killing three University of Arizona students must now undergo more alcohol testing during the holidays.
Court documents reveal that 19-year-old Louis Artal faces three counts of manslaughter and one count of leaving the scene after the deadly hit-and-run on October 30.
Artal is currently out of jail on a $250,000 bond and is prohibited from consuming alcohol.
A judge has ordered Artal to check in twice a week for alcohol testing over the next three weeks.
Artal is scheduled to return to court on February 20.
