Art at Anthem: Holiday shopping with local artisans | Business

Art at Anthem will return Dec. 12-14 at Outlets North Phoenix, offering a holiday shopping experience featuring fine art, handcrafted goods and seasonal activities.

Presented by Marlo Johnson Productions, the team behind the Oak Creek Arts and Crafts Show in Sedona, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Sixty juried artists and artisans are scheduled to participate, with work ranging from fine art and photography to jewelry, pottery and Native American pieces.

Vendors include a local alpaca farm with sustainably grown alpaca-wool clothing and gifts; Cathy Manthey’s Homemade Mommy and Me Aprons; Queen Bee Gourmet Honey, voted “Best Local Honey in Arizona” by Phoenix New Times, featuring honey from locally rescued bees; and Doug Koepsel Photography showcasing landscape and nature work from the American Southwest.

Live music is planned throughout the weekend, with scheduled performers including James Austin Murray of JAM NOW, the duo Him and Me and singer-guitarist Michael Peters.

Seasonal activities include visits from Santa and the appearance of what Outlets North Phoenix describes as Arizona’s tallest fresh-cut Christmas tree.

“If you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to shop local, meet amazing makers and enjoy the season, this is it,” said event organizer Marlo Johnson.

Johnson founded the Oak Creek Arts and Crafts Show in January 2011. In addition to its regular Sedona shows, the organization hosts several Valley events each year, including the Shops at Norterra Art Festival (Jan. 23-25, 2026) and the Paradise Valley Arts and Crafts Show (Feb. 28 – March 1, 2026).

Each show features local and Native American artists, handcrafted gifts, fine art, ceramics, jewelry, photography, live music and food vendors.
