Fall festivals, concerts and cooking competitions are hoping to draw crowds this weeked around the Valley.
PHOENIX — If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, there are plenty of options across the Valley to entertain you and your family.
First Fridays:
Nov. 7 marks the start of First Fridays in Downtown Phoenix. The weekly event includes street vendors, art, live music and food.
Hondo Rodeo Fest:
Hondo Rodeo Fest returns to Chase Field in Phoenix on Friday with a weekend full of rodeo events and concerts.
Gates open at 5 p.m. on Friday and events run through Sunday.
Nickelback headlines the Friday night concert, Kid Rock headlines Saturday night and Jason Aldean takes the stage on Sunday.
Tickets for the concerts can be purchased online.
Downtown Mesa Barbecue Classic:
Barbecue fans in the Valley can taste some of the best this weekend in Mesa.
The Barbecue Classic starts Friday in Downtown Mesa and includes competitions, live music and a beer garden.
This is the third year Downtown Mesa has hosted the competition.
Party in the Park:
Mr. Worldwide is coming to the Valley this weekend and he’s bringing some friends.
Pitbull, Shaggy, Lil John, Ginuwine and more are performing on Saturday in Gilbert Regional Park as part of the Party in the Park.
Tickets can be bought online.
Arizona Fall Fest:
If you want to shop local and celebrate all things Arizona, then you’ll want to head to Margaret T. Hance Park in Phoenix this weekend.
Arizona Fall Fest will feature more than 200 vendors selling food, jewelry and other items from Arizona businesses.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Dreamy Draw Music Festival:
The Lumineers, Vampire Weekend and Father John Misty are just some of the artists set to take the stage this weekend for the Dreamy Draw Music Festival
The festival takes place Friday and Saturday at Scottsdale Civic Center. Tickets can be purchased online.
Camelback Studio Tour and Art Sale:
Art enthusiasts and collectors can get a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process and find their new favorite work of art this weekend at the Camelback Studio Tour and Art Sale.
The tour is free and takes place on Saturday and Sunday. Participants can visit artists in their home studios and see where the art is made.
