Share input on Arizona’s proposed water quality certification | News



PHOENIX (KVOA) – The public is invited to share their thoughts as a comment period opens for the proposed State 401 Water Quality Certification for the 2026 Nationwide Permits Reissuance by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Arizona.

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) is seeking input from residents. Comments can be submitted via email or by mail addressed to:

       ADEQ

       Water Quality Division, Groundwater Section

       Attn: Rosi Sherrill 

       1110 W. Washington St. 

       Phoenix, AZ 85007

The comment period opened on Nov. 5 and will close on Dec. 8, to ensure their opinions are heard and considered on this environmental decision.

According to ADEQ, the project will be located on State of Arizona non-Tribal Lands.
