The City of Tempe said no deaths or serious injuries were reported after the Oct. 13 storm.
TEMPE, Ariz. — Officials from the federal government are in Tempe as the city works to recover from October storm damage.
Representatives with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Small Business Administration are in Tempe as part of review process for federal financial assistance, according to the City of Tempe.

The city said damage assessments show that the Oct. 13 microburst damaged more than 1,000 residences in Tempe, including 144 that were classified as destroyed.
Eighty Tempe businesses were also reportedly damaged, with 58 classified as destroyed.
Officials with FEMA and SBA will now review assessments completed by the state and determine if there is a need for federal assistance. City officials say this review could take several months.
While many organizations like the Red Cross, Salvation Army and Team Rubicon have responded to help those impacted by the storm, those who still need help can contact the city.
The City of Tempe is partnering with several agencies for income-qualified rent assistance and home repair as well as food and hygiene items.
According to the city, the storm did not cause deaths or serious injuries.
