Scottsdale school locksmith facing criminal charges of child exploitation

The school locksmith is accused of possessing child sexual abuse material and “child sex dolls,” police say.

PEORIA, Ariz. — A locksmith for a Valley school district has been arrested by Peoria police for allegedly possessing child sexual abuse material.

Dominick Le Beau, 22, was arrested on Oct. 27 following an investigation into child sexual abuse material (CSAM) uploaded onto a social media account.

Court records show the IP address and email addresses were allegedly traced back to Le Beau.

When questioned by police, the suspect “denied being attracted to children” but disclosed he uses his social media account as “an escape” and “exotic role play,” records show.

Peoria’s investigation into the CSAM began when the agency received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in October 2024.

The suspect is facing charges of sexual exploitation of a minor, possession of child sex dolls and child endangerment. Peoria police said Le Beau was employed as a locksmith for the Scottsdale Unified School District.

Public records show the suspect was hired at SUSD in early 2024. A spokesperson for SUSD said the suspect had successfully passed background checks when he was hired.

Le Beau has been placed on administrative leave upon learning of his arrest.

“At this time, there is no information to suggest that the alleged criminal activity involved any SUSD students or occurred on district property,” the district spokesperson wrote in a statement. “The individual did not have direct contact with students as a part of his job duties.”
