Phoenix police investigate deadly shooting of 27-year-old man



27-year-old Bryan Richmond was found in the road with at least one gunshot wound, police said.

PHOENIX — A man who was found dead in a Phoenix road had at least one gunshot wound, according to officials with the city’s police department. 

Officers were called to the area of McDowell Road and 35th Avenue for reports of an injured person on Oct. 4, just before 2:30 a.m. They found the victim, identified as 27-year-old Bryan Richmond, in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. 

Phoenix Police said on Oct. 14, Pablo Terrazas was arrested. Probable cause for Terrazas’ arrest was found after reviewing extensive surveillance footage and identifying several witnesses, police said. 

Terrazas briefly fled from police but was later taken into custody. He is facing charges of murder and resisting arrest.

Calls to Silent Witness are answered 24/7 by a live person and submitted tips are accepted at all times. Submitted tips are then sent to the detective(s) in charge of the specific case. 

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
