Guardrail repairs on Tucson roads to cause delays this week | Local News

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – The Pima County Department of Transportation, in collaboration with Southern Arizona Paving, will conduct guardrail and handrail repairs from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at various locations this week.

On Oct. 15, repairs will take place on Irvington Road, east of La Cholla Boulevard.

On Oct. 16, work will occur at 10400 S. Nogales Highway.

The week will end with repairs on Oct. 17, at Craycroft Road and Corte Vista Montanosa.

Pima County Sheriff’s Deputies and flaggers will be present to guide traffic through the work zones. Expect potential delays and lane closures.

Drivers are urged to approach these areas with caution, adhere to traffic control devices, and allow extra travel time. The schedule may change due to mechanical failures or inclement weather.
