Avra Valley road repairs may impact Tucson traffic flow | News

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – Borderland Construction is set to repair the guardrail along West Avra Valley Road.

The work will begin at Air Commerce Way and extend approximately 1,000 feet east, officials said.

On Tuesday, Sept. 9, a lane shift and speed reduction will occur from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is part of the Northwest Recharge, Recovery, & Delivery System partnered water project.

Drivers are advised to proceed with caution and expect potential delays in the area.
