Chandler high school student places 8th in international history competition

CHANDLER, AZ — A 16-year-old Chandler student is making Arizona proud after competing in an international history competition.

Rishi Musti of Hamilton High School is a self-described history enthusiast and recently competed against hundreds of the world’s brightest students in the International History Olympiad in Paris, France.

He placed in multiple events, winning the gold in South West Asian history. Overall, he placed 8th in the world.
