WILLCOX, Ariz. – (KVOA) The Willcox Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred early Sunday morning.
Willcox Police say one man was stabbed to death Keiller Park.
Police say when officers got to the scene they immediately tried to save the man. The victim was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
The victim has been identified as 54-year-old Gerrardo Rojas of California.
Willcox police say a suspect was identified Sunday and during questioning that man admitted to the stabbing.
The suspect now sits in the Cochise County Jail where he faces a first degree murder charge.
