2 arrested, $34K in drugs seized in AZ drug bust

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Two people have been arrested and thousands of dollars’ worth of drugs have been seized in a drug bust in Scottsdale, according to authorities.

The Scottsdale Police Department said a several-month-long investigation led to the arrests of 31-year-old Matsemela Zuzu Moloi and 26-year-old Luke Asher McConnell on Aug. 13.

Cocaine, ketamine, meth pills, 2C/Tusi, ecstasy, xanax, and psilocybin were seized. Police said the estimated street value for the seized drugs is $34,000.

Three guns and $45,000 in cash were also seized.

Moloi and McConnell are facing multiple drug sales and weapons charges, police said.
