Salpointe Catholic Baseball wins 4A State Championship | News



TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – Salpointe Catholic Baseball is bringing home a state championship!

The top-seed Lancers shutout No. 14 Flagstaff 8-0 at Tempe Diablo Stadium. It’s their first state title since 2019.

Salpointe made a statement in the first inning, scoring five runs. Among those was a two-run inside-the park-homer from junior Colton Raetzman. The Lancers scored three more in the second and third innings.

Salpointe’s pitching staff held Flagstaff to just three hits.
