PHOENIX — Dangerous fire weather conditions are expected for Sunday in Arizona.
A Red Flag Warning is in effect for the White Mountains of eastern Arizona as wind gusts are expected to reach 50 miles per hour.
In the Valley expect winds to be breezy with gusts up to 30 mph.
The latest front pushes through the four corners Sunday bringing a slight chance for isolated light showers to northern Arizona. Showers activity will stay north of I-40.
Temperatures wise the valley is cooling down into the mid to upper 80s for Sunday and back into the low 90s for the start of the week.
A BIG warm up is on the way, triple digits back in the forecast by the end of next week. The Valley could see its first 105 degree day of the year by Thursday.
