Man in critical condition after being shot in Phoenix



Phoenix police are looking for a suspect after a man was shot early Sunday morning.

PHOENIX — A man is in the hospital after an early morning shooting in Phoenix, according to authorities.

The Phoenix Police Department said officers responded to the 2700 block of North Black Canyon Access Road just after 5 a.m., where they found a man who had been shot.

The man was taken to the hospital and is reported to be in critical condition.

Police said officers learned the man had been shot at another location, and officers “began to close off areas near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road.”

Police have not identified a suspect in the shooting.
