TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – A fatal collision occurred on May 3, 2025, involving a Suzuki motorcycle and a silver GMC Terrain on the 7600 block of East Broadway Boulevard.
The Tucson Fire Department pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene, while the passenger of the GMC was transported to a hospital as a precaution. The driver, a 42-year-old female, was unharmed.
Traffic detectives took over the investigation, revealing that the GMC was turning left into a business complex when the westbound motorcyclist, traveling at high speed, collided with it. The speed limit in the area is 40 mph.
The motorcyclist, identified as 22-year-old Brock Christopher Jackson, was wearing a helmet and had the proper motorcycle endorsement. An officer determined the GMC driver was not impaired.
The collision is attributed to the GMC’s failure to yield and the motorcyclist’s speeding. The investigation is ongoing, with no charges or citations issued yet.
