Man has life-threatening injuries after being shot in Phoenix

PHOENIX — A man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was shot in south Phoenix, according to authorities.

The Phoenix Police Department said the shooting happened Saturday at 8:30 a.m. near Central and Southern avenues.

Police said they have contacted a woman believed to be involved in the shooting. Details about her involvement were not provided.
