Protesters gather outside of Tucson Tesla dealership | Top Stories

Tucson, Ariz. (KVOA) – Saturday hundreds of people gathered outside of the Tucson Tesla Dealership and the intersection nearby to protest Elon Musk.

Saturday the crowd of hundreds rallied outside of the Tesla Dealership on Oracle and River. Protesters were lined up on the sidewalk of the intersection and the perimeter of the dealership with signs.

The gathering was to protest Musk’s role in the Trump Administration.

Protesters say the actions of President Donald Trump, Elon Musk and others in the Trump Administration are undermining our Democracy. They hope their message of protest will be heard all the way in Washington. 

“We are out here because it feels in some ways we are powerless to do anything against the government that seems to do anything and everything they want carelessly with no regard to the people they hurt,” shared protestor Lori Bailey.

Bailey shared she’s protesting for many reasons and has difficulty choosing just one reason.

“There are so many things, it gets hard to choose just one. Veterans are being hurt, our children are desperately being hurt, LGBTQ+ population, it’s just one group after another and it needs to stop,” said Bailey.
