Arizona ramps up DUI patrols for safer St. Patrick’s Day across Arizona | Arizona News

PHOENIX (KVOA) – Arizona will ramp up efforts to ensure safety on St. Patrick’s Day with statewide enforcement activities.

On March 17, 2025, law enforcement agencies across Arizona, in conjunction with the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, will focus on reducing crashes, fatalities, and injuries on the roads.

Over 50 law enforcement agencies will participate in specialized enforcement activities to combat impaired driving, including DUI patrols supported by drug recognition experts.

Arizona Highway Safety reminds residents that “buzzed driving is drunk driving” and residents are encouraged to plan ahead if they choose to drink with friends.
