Big warmup before winter returns next week

PHOENIX — We’re quickly warming things up before we’re back into winter mode!

High pressure has built-in and dried us out and will help boost our temperatures today and tomorrow.

Temperatures will continue to soar as we head into Monday with the Valley expected to reach the mid 80s.

However, another storm system is expected to arrive by Tuesday. It will bring much cooler temperatures, gusty winds, and another round of rain and snow. The storm aims to move into Arizona Tuesday afternoon and evening into Wednesday morning.

A second storm system will arrive by the end of next week, sending temperatures even lower and more rain and snow our way. The timing for that one looks to be Thursday into Friday morning.
