PHOENIX — A man has died after he was reportedly shot during a fight in west Phoenix, city police confirmed Tuesday morning.
According to early reports, officers were called to 22nd Avenue near Interstate 17 and north of Camelback Road for reports of a fight.
When police arrived, they found the man with a gunshot wound. First responders took him to the hospital where he later died. Police haven’t released his identity at this time.
Detectives are working to learn more about what led up to the fatal incident, and police expect the area to be shut down for the investigation.

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
