Warm and dry week across Arizona

PHOENIX — It has been a warm weekend in the Valley with temperatures in the lower 80s. Those highs are going to keep climbing towards the uppers 80s as we head into this week.

High pressure keeps our forecast sunny and dry and warming things up over the next week. However, a short-wave of low pressure to our north will dig into the Rockies by midweek. This could weaken that high keeping temperatures away from the 90s.

Although we do not have our first 90-degree day in the forecast, temperatures will be 15 degrees above normal in the Valley.

Phoenix will top out in the upper 80s tomorrow and stay there through Friday.

Across the rest of the state, temperatures are set to be nearly 10-15 degrees above average through the middle of the week with sunny skies.
