53 Arizona public schools awarded for excellence | Local News



PHOENIX – The Arizona Educational Foundation announced that 53 public schools in Arizona have achieved the prestigious A+ School of Excellence Award.

This recognition is the highest state-level honor for public schools in Arizona.

The A+ School of Excellence Award, established 42 years ago, highlights schools that may be recommended for the U.S. Department of Education’s National Blue Ribbon Award.

Each year, hundreds of schools apply for this accolade, which celebrates exceptional qualities in education. Judges look for attributes such as strong leadership, high-quality teaching, and a student-centered learning approach.
