Over the weekend of Jan. 24-26, the Shops at Norterra will host a local version of Sedona’s popular Oak Creek Arts & Crafts Shows. Featuring demonstrations by artists, an interactive art installation, live entertainment and more, the Shops at Norterra Art Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at 2460 W. The Cave Creek Unified Education Foundation (CCUEF) is calling on the community to lace up for the Run the District 5K, set for Saturday, Jan. 25, at Falcon Field at Cactus Shadows, located at 33606 N. 60th St. in Scottsdale. The family-friendly run/walk will begin at 9 a.m. and is open to participants of all ages and abilities. Registration is $25 per participant, while children 5 and under can join for free. American Legion Post 34 is gearing up for its popular annual rummage sale, touted as the largest in the Valley of the Sun. The event is set for Friday, Jan. 24, and Saturday, Jan. 25, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 6272 E. Cave Creek Road in Cave Creek. This year, the two-day event will feature a new addition: a BBQ lunch available each day from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Read this article for all of the details. 

Desert Hills Presbyterian Church (DHPC) is excited to welcome vocalist Sandra Bassett to the stage for a concert on Sunday, January 26, at 4 p.m. As part of the church’s popular Arts at the Rocks performing arts series, this free event will take place on the DHPC campus at the foot of the beautiful boulders, 34605 N.
