STORMTRACKER 4 FORECAST — Stormtracker 4 Alert Days have been issued for Thursday and Friday ahead of the first freeze of the season.
Valley rain and mountain snow will arrive in Southern Arizona late tonight. Scattered rain and snow showers above 2800′ to 3000′ will continue through much of Wednesday afternoon with the brunt of the precipitation falling east of Tucson.
Prior to the polar blast, winds will whip up across all of SE Arizona during much of the day Wednesday. Wind Advisories have been posted for the entire region. Please be extra careful in high profile vehicles and secure loose patio furniture.
Overnight lows on Wednesday and Thursday nights will be in the upper 20s.
It is still not likely for Tucson to see accumulating snow since the rain chance will end before the temperature drop. If you live in Cochise or Graham counties, that is where the best chance to see snow will be.
