Homicide investigation opened after 52-year-old is found dead alone in Phoenix



An investigation is underway as to why a man was found dead in a home on Saturday, Jan. 4.

Police say 52-year-old Ted Vasquez was found dead after a welfare check on Jan. 3 at a home near 59th Avenue and Palm Lane in Phoenix.

The case is being investigated as a homicide and police say Vasquez possibly died from a gunshot wound. 

Vasquez was found alone in his home.

No suspects have been detained and anyone with information was asked to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS OR 480-TESTIGO.
