Shots fired at Glendale business; 1 man hurt

A man is in the hospital after being shot during a fight at a business near 51st and Olive Avenues early Tuesday morning. FOX 10’s Danielle Miller reports.

GLENDALE, Ariz. – A man is in the hospital after being shot during a fight at a Glendale business early Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened just before 1 a.m. on Dec. 17 near 51st and Olive Avenues.

Glendale Police say officers arrived at the scene and found a man who had been shot. He was taken to a hospital. His current condition is unknown.

Investigators say the shooting stemmed from an argument between two groups of people that happened inside the business.

“The argument turned physical resulting in a physical fight just inside the entry way,” police said. “As the groups separate, shots are fired from the front of the building and into the business resulting in the victim being injured.”

Police did not say if any arrests were made.
