BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – A Bullhead City woman was arrested on suspicion of several charges after an officer was punched and another was stabbed, the police department said.
On Dec. 11 at around 8 p.m., officers with the Bullhead City Police Department responded to reports of domestic violence near Marina Boulevard and Lakeside Drive.
“A victim reported that his daughter was acting out of control and aggressive. When officers arrived, she was extremely uncooperative and combative,” police said.
The woman, Marie Jacquez, 39, allegedly punched an officer and stabbed another officer in the leg with a knife. That officer got stitches and was released from the hospital.
Jacquez was arrested and booked into Kingman’s Mohave County Jail. She’s accused of assault, disorderly conduct, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a peace officer resulting in serious physical injury, and aggravated assault against a peace officer.
