Tempe police announced the arrest on Tuesday evening, but said further details will be given tomorrow at a press conference.
TEMPE, Ariz. — A man has been arrested in connection with three separate shooting incidents targeting the Democratic National Committee office in Tempe as well as hanging suspicious bags of white powder from several political signs in Ahwatukee.
Tempe police said the DNC campaign office was first hit with gunfire in September.
The first incident occurred on Sept. 16 at 12:09 a.m. and the second occurred on Sept. 23 at 12:35 a.m.
On Oct. 6, the campaign office near Southern Avenue and Priest Drive was hit by gunfire at around 12:30 a.m.
The same suspect was also arrested for his alleged involvement in hanging suspicious bags of white powder from several political signs lined with razor blades that the suspect posted in Ahwatukee, police said.
Police said they will hold a press conference to release additional details on Oct. 23 at 4 p.m. at the Tempe Police Department Apache substation.
