PHOENIX – The Phoenix Police Department says its officers were injured and a suspect is “down” following a shooting Sunday night.
The Oct. 20 incident happened near 37th and Glendale avenues around 8:15 p.m. Crime scene tape surrounds the Dollar Tree and investigators are in and out of the store collecting evidence.
“No serious injuries to officers. Suspect is down and no one outstanding,” police said.
There’s no word on what led up to the shooting. The department didn’t say how many officers were hurt or how they were hurt.
No further information was made available.
