Phoenix police breach home after standoff, 2 people detained

PHOENIX — Two people were detained after a standoff with Phoenix police Monday morning, 12News crews have learned.

The incident happened at a home near 7th and Southern avenues and details are limited at this time.

Phoenix police served a search warrant and breached the home around 6:20 a.m. Two people were brought out of the front door and taken into police custody.

At this time, it’s unknown if those people are suspects or residents of the home. Police have not said if anyone was hurt during the incident.
