Two people hurt, 19-year-old man in custody after shooting at Chandler home


CHANDLER, AZ — Chandler police are investigating a shooting at a home that left two people injured Monday morning.

Officers were called to a neighborhood near McQueen and Chandler Heights roads around 6 a.m. where two adults were found with gunshot wounds.

Both victims are expected to survive, police say.

A 19-year-old man, identified as the victims’ son, was taken into custody in connection to the shooting.

He faces two counts of attempted first-degree murder and reportedly had been planning to kill his parents, according to police documents.
