Arizona Lottery, Arizona Office of Tourism team up to deliver an unexpected adventure for players | Things To Do

The Arizona Lottery and Arizona Office of Tourism are excited to announce a partnership aimed at encouraging all Arizonans, and Lottery players in particular, to get out and visit a variety of amazing Arizona destinations during the beloved Arizona Adventure Scratchers ticket and adventure-based promotion.

“We’re bringing a sense of adventure to our players, offering more chances to win and explore the beauty of our great state,” said Alec Thomson, Arizona Lottery CEO. “This promotion gives a full circle example of what the Lottery provides; exciting games, experiential travel prizes, all while giving back to our state.”

Arizona Adventure celebrates our great state by combining a unique lottery ticket set against a backdrop of three iconic landscapes, geo-located adventures at 10 destinations, and the chance to win a share of $1 million in cash and Arizona travel prize packages curated by the Arizona Office of Tourism.

“We are so fortunate to live in a spectacularly diverse state, which offers so many opportunities for outdoor recreation and adventure statewide,” said Lisa Urias, CEO/EDD of the Arizona Office of Tourism. “We’re excited to work with the AZ Lottery to encourage Arizonans to get out and explore responsibly!” 

Players can go to AZAdventure.com to learn about the various adventures, get directions, and then embark on their self-guided adventure. Once a player reaches the coordinates of the destination of their choice, they can “Check-In” on the Arizona Adventure website to receive ten entries into the Adventure Drawing to win Arizona travel prize packages.

For those who want to adventure closer to home, players can purchase the limited-time-only, Arizona Adventure Scratchers ticket at more than 3,500 Arizona Lottery retailers across the state. This new $5 ticket gives players a chance to win a $50,000 top prize, plus each Arizona Adventure ticket entered into the promotion will receive five entries into the Cash Drawing and five entries into the Adventure Drawing.
